History

1992 Founded by Hasan and Mustafa AKANDERE to transport internationally by land

1995 Established bases and began investing in vehicles. Received a C-2 authorization certificate from The Customs and Transport Ministry.

1997 Established a second affiliate company, Grupaj Transport Company

1998 Affiliate Grupaj Transport Company received an authorization certificate from the Customs and Transport Ministry.

1998 In association with Mr. Mustafa ÖZTÜRK, established Grup Gümrükleme Co., branching into logistic and customs services

1999 Grupaj Servis centralized all its units at its own facilities in Kartal.

1999 Grup Gümrükleme was granted a Customs General Warehouse permit and launched its warehouse and distribution services.

1999 In association with Mr. Mustafa ÖZTÜRK, established Grupaj Servis Sigorta Aracılık Hizmetleri Ltd. Şti. (Insurance Service Inc.) to better service its customers with its expertise in transport and logistics.

2000 Grupaj Kargo Lojistik Company was established to facilitate inter city transport in Turkey and offer daily service between Istanbul, Ankara, İzmir, and Bursa.

2001 Grupaj Servis expanded with investments abroad and established, in association with Mr. Michel Pehlivan, Eurotürk Internationale Spedition GmbH in Nurnberg/Germany starting a series of agencies and services which have grown throughout Europe since then.

2001 Grupaj Servis was granted its FIATA Certificate

2001 Grupaj Servis branched into sea, land, and air transport including the use of the extensive rail network.

2002 ISO 9002 Certificate was granted

2002 In association with Ms. Sebahat Taşcı, established Transline International Transport Co. to offer forwarding Services in the Russian Federation and Central Asian Turkic Republics as well as Europe

2003 To comply with the demands of high quality service, Grupaj Servis has implemented a comprehensive educational program for all staff. Business and general management specific courses related to occupation as well as others are given at the International Transport Association Training Centre to upgrade employees skills on a continuing basis.
